Inkspire is a brand new, exclusively online literary journal for aspiring Indian writers from across the world. Our mission is to discover and publish stories, personal essays, poetry, book reviews and more from those who are taking their first steps in the world of writing. We are particularly interested in writing by Indian women and those who have not had formal training in writing, yet demonstrate a clear passion for it.

It does not matter if you have never published anything before or whether you have had 22 rejections for that one short story that you believe needs to be out there. What we care about is your writing and your perspective on our issue’s theme.


Inskpire does not charge a reading fee to read your work and we do not pay for accepted pieces at the moment.
